About Veryday

Veryday is one of the top-ranking design consultancies in the world. We have an impressive track record for design that has helped build successful business for its clients, including LG, Microsoft, GE Healthcare, 3M, Spotify, BabyBjörn and IKEA. Veryday was founded in 1969 and is part of McKinsey & Company since November 2016. Through this partnership we continue to drive impact on a global scale and to serve our market sectors with the full spectrum of technology, business and design. In 2014, the company’s 45-years success story was honored with the highest distinction in the design word, the “Red Dot: Design team of the year”. Based on deep people insights, our designers are creating innovative solutions through products and services in the physical and digital worlds, to enhance quality of life.

We are now looking for a world class Senior Brand and Visual Designer with experience of brand management, graphic design (physical and digital), packaging design and space/environmental/retail design, as well as strategic understanding and interest in the future of consumer goods and retail. This position is located in Bromma, Stockholm.

What you will do

You will work as a world class Visual/Graphic/Packaging designer (physical and digital) who is passionate about CPG (packing and high end visual design), as well as retail and has brand experience beyond visual brand design. You will sometimes be part of a larger team as contributor, and at other times be leading the team.

Since our clients and end consumer are located all over the world, you must be able to travel, at times extensively. You will be working in both “stand-alone” Veryday design work, as well as in joint teams with McKinsey consultants.

  • Educational background and/or proven experience in both “physical” and digital visual design (graphics, brand, icons, packaging, retail/space design)
  • Ideally minimum 5-7 years of experience in other consulting agency/agencies
  • Creative fast “doer” with a solid strategic mindset
  • Great communication skills
  • Having worked for large international clients
  • Received recognized visual design awards
  • Understanding of new technologies affecting brand and retail (online shopping, augmented reality, virtual reality, crossover between online and “brick and mortar”)

Why Veryday

Working at Veryday you will be part of a world class top-ranking design consultancy where you will get the chance to grow in your profession with highly skilled and inspiring colleagues. You will get to work with a broad variety of exciting projects and clients, often in a global setting.

As thought leaders within design, we need to constantly expand our knowledge. To support your learning journey, we offer a mentorship program, a people development model and weekly knowledge sharing sessions.

At Veryday, you’ll be part of a fun, creative and friendly culture where we care for people and want to change the world for the better. With this approach, we deliver both high value and impact for our clients and increased quality of life for users.

We often describe ourselves as humble rebels because we challenge each other and our clients to explore, think and rethink what we do and how we deliver it.  We place pride in our culture and actively look for people that share our values, but also hold a mindset that could complement us in an interesting way.

At Veryday you will also be part of a highly collaborative and diverse team – together we represent more than 30 different nations and cultures. The rationale is simply that; the greater the diversity, the greater the collective knowledge and expertise, and hence, the better the odds of creating greatness. Not only is diversity a main ingredient of our business success, it’s also a major component of our core values.

In short, we offer:

  • Challenging and highly rewarding work in global projects
  • A never-ending learning curve
